Once upon a time...

Since 2006, Domaine Tomali-Maniatyn proudly overlooks Sutton's valley and greets guests from all over the world. The Domaine is the dream come true of Tom and Alicia Bedkowski, your hosts.

Native of Poland and living in Montreal since almost 20 years, Tom and Alicia fell in love with Sutton when their oldest daughter settled here in the late '90s.

Looking for a place where to build a family cottage, the mountain and the warm and peaceful atmosphere of the village seduced them.

In 2001, they sold their Montreal home to buy this beautiful land between the village and the ski resort of Mont Sutton.

Tom discussed his dream home at length with an architect of his friends who carefully crafted the plans of this cottage, inspired by the mountain houses of Zakopane in Poland.

The result is this majestic modern castle, unique in Quebec, with its distinctive curved roof, and big windows to gaze over the distant horizon.
